House Insulation

Reduce your energy use by insulating your home.

You can dramatically reduce the heat loss from your house by insulating your loft and walls, by installing double or triple glazed windows (with special heat retaining glass), simply hanging thick insulated curtains (and keeping them closed) and by putting draft excluders on doors and windows. You will be amazed at the difference you will see on your energy bills.

You can choose to buy insulation made from renewable or waste materials such as:

  • Sheeps wool wall and loft insulation (e.g. thermafleece)
  • pulverised re-cycled paper insulation (e.g. warmcel or Termex)

These products are treated with fire-retardants and stabilizers and meet building regulations. We DO NOT suggest you make your own recycled insulation for health and safety reasons.
